THE LACEY TROOP
Last year I converted these fellows from A Call to Arms Ironsides to make them look like Sir Martin Lacey's horse in the old series By the Sword Divided. I have just finished them to give me a break from Oldhammer stuff
Splendid Lacey Troop.Great tv the series was.I rewatched it last year on dvd borrowed from a friend. It stands up well to the passage of time... On a ecw/gardeming theme have you read the novels by Phillipa Gregory about the Tradescants? I really enjoyed them .The first is Earthly Joys I think...
Thanks for joining my blogspot. I find that for some reason I can no longer reciprocate under my pseudonym Archduke Piccolo, so it's under a form of my real name instead. Annoying really. No fan of change for its own sake, I find it especially vexing when imposed without notice nor consultation.
On another matter, the subject matter of your latest posting suggested to me you might enjoy the narrative in the blogspot of a Christchurch buddy, Bazza Taylor: The Lyndhurst Chronicles. It's a sort of resumption of the English Civil War after an 80-years interregnum.
Thaks Ion, will look into that. Your comment here, is by The Archduke, or do you mean joining my blog? If so that is annoying in the extreme. The powers can't seem to help themselves meddling with things.
Nice work!
ReplyDeleteunfortunately, I don't know who is Sir Martin Lacey !
He was a Royalist character from a British TV drama series shown in 1982 about The English Civil War .
Deletethanks !
