The castle is pretty much finished, it just needs labeling as specified in the homework, to show all the different forms of defence. The boy added the finishing touches of paintwork yesterday
Hopefully the history teacher will approve. Now I can get back to painting soldiers....yipeee!!
Fine, very fine!! Will there be flags and banners to top it off?
ReplyDeleteEventually, the first banner in the flagpole slot (on the keep) will have the boys name and class on it for ID at school.
DeleteThe teacher had better be impressed...
ReplyDeleteI'll second flags and banners.
Good stuff :)
ReplyDeleteYes! Just itching for some knights and maybe a dragon with some treasure.
ReplyDeleteBest Regards,
Stokes
That is a VERY impressive model !!! 10 out of 10 to all ! ,Tony
ReplyDeleteRealistic and very impressive, great job!
ReplyDeleteSuper castle, turned out really well. I expect its demsne contains huge tracts of land....
ReplyDeleteThanks chaps, it was a fun project.Doubly so as I remember my old Dad helping me do the same. I am getting requests from the other 2 sons for a castle each.
ReplyDeleteReally great castle!! With your other two sons requesting castles, I see the possibility for a very fun campaign in the works!
DeleteWhat a wonderful, scratch built creation! I want to build a 6mm version for some ECW siege gaming - I hope it comes out half as good as this!
ReplyDeleteThanks Paul, it was suprisingly quick to make as we didn't want to get too bogged down in exact measurements etc. I do like very small scale buildings like 10 and 6mm so I would be interested to see your creation.
