MORE BRICKS AND MORTAR

Another evenings work on the castle, we have added the square Norman keep, the rest of the curtain walls and made up the barbican defences. Doors have been added to the towers and trapdoors to the roofs.

Sir Prancelot examines the barbican.

The approach slope, exposed to arrow fire from the battlements.

"Prithee, thys gateway is a trifle small for my scale, but no matter"

    1. I should imagine so. Robin is keen to fill it up with 1/72 knights.

  2. It must be used after the homework is submitted I say- all that work deserves some battles fought over it!
    Fab work.

  3. This is turning out to be a major work - how is your boy going to get it to school? Does he own a handcart big enough?!

I don't know, but if I wanted to a castle, yours and the Goodrich Castle will be a great source of inspiration !
